How much do we love Prosecco? Quite a lot as it turns out – the UK is still the number one export for this fizzy nectar? Prosecco can either be frizzante (gently sparkling) or spumante (fully sparkling). Ours is the latter, and all the better for it. We’re also happy to say that our Prosecco comes from organically certified vineyards.
As with all good Proseccos, it’s fresh and fruity – flavours of pear / apple / peach – and it’s also pretty dry, which means it goes rather well with a bowl of nibbles.
Geek Fact: Prosecco’s grape variety is Glera. Never heard of it? It’s grown almost exclusively in the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy.
